If you’re only traveling to Santorini and Mykonos, add Naxos, Paros, or Milos to your itinerary.  They are less congested and more charming.

No cash ️   A lot of places still demand you to have euros.

Wearing high heels in old places   Heels and cobblestones don’t go together.   Get flat!

Respect Checklist (Cultural and Environmental Etiquette)

When you go to churches and monasteries, dress modestly.  Don’t climb on old ruins.   Always greet them with a smile and say “Kalimera” (Good morning).  Don’t waste food (the portions are large!).

Don’t flush toilet paper; put it in the trash (this is very common here).

How Greece Has Changed Over the Years

Greece has evolved a lot over the years. It used to be home to historical empires, but now it’s a great place for travelers.   Tourists love Santorini and Mykonos, but the mainland and less well-known islands still have the charm of places from the past.

Many cities are open to eco-tourism and digital nomadism, which combine new and old ways of living.

My Life’s Thoughts and Experiences in Greece

Greece isn’t simply a place; it’s a way of life.

It’s having coffee while sitting under a fig tree, the sound of bouzouki music echoing across an alley, the sunsets that make time stop and the people you don’t know who treat you like family.   There was a lot of sunshine, love, and feta cheese on my journey.
